This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Lyf OS ("we", "us") collects, why, and the rights you have over it. It applies to our website, web app, and Android app (and future iOS app).
We are committed to complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA where applicable.
2. Information we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run the service:
- Account information — name, email address, and authentication data.
- Content you create — timeline entries, tasks, goals, projects, and flow definitions.
- Usage & device data — app version, device type, crash logs, and coarse feature-usage events.
- Screen-time data — only if you opt in to screen-time tracking, and only on-device summaries unless you enable sync.
- Calendar data — only if you connect Google Calendar; limited to event titles, times, and attendees needed for sync.
3. How we use your information
We use your data to operate the timeline and AI planner, process payments, provide customer support, secure your account, and improve the product using aggregated, de-identified usage patterns. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Third parties we work with
We share only what each processor needs to do its job, under a data processing agreement:
- Stripe — processes card payments for web (mylyfos.life) purchases.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription status for Google Play and App Store purchases.
- Google Cloud — hosts our infrastructure and provides optional Google Calendar sync.
5. Data retention
Account and timeline data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, most data is removed within 30 days; billing records are retained longer where required by tax and accounting law. See our Account & Data Deletion page for the full breakdown.
6. Your privacy rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. See our GDPR & Data Rights page to submit a request.
If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what data we hold, request deletion, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal data.
7. Children's privacy

8. Changes to this policy
We will post any material changes here and update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of Lyf OS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
