You can delete your Lyf OS account and associated data either from inside the app or by email — no support ticket required.
2. Delete in-app (self-serve)
Open Lyf OS → Settings → Account → scroll to the "Danger zone" → Delete Account → confirm by re-entering your password. Deletion begins immediately.
3. Delete by email
If you can't access the app, email [email protected] from your account's registered address with the subject "Delete my account". We verify identity and confirm within 5 business days, then begin deletion.
4. What is deleted
Once deletion is confirmed:
Your profile, login credentials, and timeline/task/goal content are deleted within 30 days.
Google Calendar sync is disconnected and any cached calendar data is removed.
Screen-time and analytics data tied to your account is deleted or fully anonymized.
5. What is retained, and why
A limited set of records is kept only where legally required:
Billing and transaction records — retained for tax and accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years).
Fraud-prevention and security logs — retained for a limited period to protect the Service.
6. Timeline
Your account is deactivated immediately on request. Underlying data, including backups, is fully purged within 30 days.
